I talk about the recent loss of net neutrality. I just want to know what else I can add and how I can make it longer. I'm trying to figure out how to make it more natural. Im not sure if I need more of myself in it or more of other outside sources. Some videos may be slightly too long. The audio in the background may take away focus from the actual video itself. 2. Personally I think the two weeks is a sufficient amount of time to create the annotated bibliography, a week would be okay too but two is much more sufficient.
3. A week was a bit short to create an extensive video but I think that it's for sure able to be done. My videos length was the only thing I struggled with extending during a short period of time. 4. I think that the amount of time we had for research was sufficient, I think any more would have been overly extensive. 5. I feel like the combination of the video review and review of the annotated bibliography is fine, I feel like it's a good use of time. 6. The lessons and homework being available and listed online has been extremely useful to me. 7. I'm genuinely content with the course. 8. I don't feel like anything needs to change as of right now. 9. I have realized that I am procrastinating on the annotated bibliography, I do have some of it done but it is not complete. I feel like besides that I have been doing a decent job at staying on top of things. https://www.networkworld.com/article/3154091/internet/the-loss-of-net-neutrality-say-goodbye-to-a-free-and-open-internet.html https://www.theregister.co.uk/2017/12/14/net_neutrality_vote_great/ https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/what-losing-net-neutrality-means-for-democracy_us_5a3422a4e4b0e1b4472ae62e https://search-proquest-com.ezproxy.rowan.edu/docview/747989519?pq-origsite=summon&https://search.proquest.com/abiglobal/advanced The recent loss of net neutrality has opened up the door to change the digital age as we know it. With issues of control over speed, access to specific facets of information across the web, and possible up in prices this conversation is more important now than ever!
For project one I intend to research topics that are of great issue not only to me, but those around me. Todays world is filled with issues that are typically pushed aside or buried in the next large media scandal. I intend to delve deeper into those forgotten issues. 1. Youtube was once a platform that allowed for any individual to spread content, however recent events within the community have shown a clear line of favoritism. While someone like Logan Paul, a straight white man, is permitted to have a video of a dead body on trending without being given an immediate strike, those speaking about trans rights will be flagged. 2. In media women have been continually misrepresented, allowing sexism to become a social norm in todays day in age. Listening to our president perpetuate this sexism has normalized it to an even broader audience. 3. Depression amongst teenagers is generally something that is seen as taboo to touch upon in mass media. Those who are willing to explore the topic are met with immense backlash, this once again pushes the issue into the shadows. Reaction
